The Illalangi boutique range of fine wines, extra virgin olive oils, dukka, tapenades and olives are proudly produced by the Gorman family, in the Riverland of South Australia, on the banks of the mighty Murray River.
Illalangi is Aboriginal for home on the hill. The Aboriginal inspired artwork on the label depicts the Aboriginal myth of the Rainbow Serpent, a powerful symbol of the creative and destructive power of nature. It is seen as the inhabitant of permanent waterholes and as in control of life’s most precious resource, water.
Illalangi is committed to working at one with nature through “world best practice” in irrigation, variety selection and management techniques in combination with abundant sunshine, a warm dry climate and low humidity.
The resulting disease free grapes and olives of intense colour and flavour from perfect ingredients for the
production of premium wines and extra virgin olive oils, year in, year out.
